The Greenbelt 5 store offers a well-curated selection of Läderach’s handcrafted chocolate creations. These include its iconic FrischSchoggi, or fresh chocolate counter where large slabs of chocolate are broken by hand into pieces to suit each customer’s preference. Chocolate lovers will also enjoy an assortment of pralines and truffles, mini mousses, tablet bars, FrischSchoggi Mini, and snacking and seasonal offerings. Läderach chocolates are indulgent treats, make perfect gifts, and best shared in celebrations or special events.

Rooted in a tradition of exquisite craftsmanship, Läderach places freshness at the heart of its chocolate-making. Its creations are made in Switzerland using carefully selected ingredients and are available exclusively through Läderach stores around the world.

Läderach first entered the Philippines with the opening of its SM Mall of Asia chocolaterie. The Greenbelt 5 opening expands the brand’s presence in the Philippines, with SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City set as its next location.

Six decades of Swiss chocolate craftsmanship

Founded in 1962, family-owned Läderach has built its reputation on high-quality, fresh Swiss chocolate and craftsmanship. The company is known for pioneering chocolate creations, including thin-walled hollow truffle balls and its signature open sale of fresh chocolate in its boutiques.

Today, the company is led by the third generation of the Läderach family—brothers Johannes, Elias, and David Läderach. Elias Läderach, a World Chocolate Master, represents the brand’s chocolate expertise and commitment to innovation.

Läderach now employs more than 2,500 people from over 80 countries and oversees its chocolate production from cocoa bean to shop counter. All of its chocolate is produced exclusively in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland, allowing the company to maintain control over quality throughout the production process.

Its handcrafted chocolate creations are currently available in more than 260 chocolateries across 30 countries.

The Philippine expansion is part of Valiram’s growing food and beverage portfolio, which includes international brands such as Läderach, GODIVA, and Bacha Coffee. The group operates more than 600 stores across nine markets in Asia-Pacific.

Laderach Greenbelt 5 is on the ground floor and open from 11 am to 9 pm from Sundays to Thursdays, and from 11 am to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
