THERE are so many ways to cook fried rice. This recipe, featured by Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) Group for National Nutrition Month last July 2022, is very nutritious because it includes lots of vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:
- 3 Tbsps. oil
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sliced onion
- 1/2 cup carrots, small diced
- 1/2 cup yellow corn kernels
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups cooked rice, fluffed up
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 pack (8 grams) Aji-Ginisa Flavor Seasoning Mix
PROCEDURE:
- Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion. Add carrots, corn, and green peas. Sauté for 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are cooked. Add beaten egg and rice, and mix well.
- Season with pepper, soy sauce, and Aji-Ginisa. Mix well.
- To prepare Egg Fried Rice with Veggies meal for kids, assemble 1-1/4 cups Egg Fried Rice with Veggies on a plate. Serve with 1/2 slice melon and 1 glass of milk.
